A full day field trip highlighting the history of oil and gas industry development in Canada that includes an operational tour of the historic Turner Valley Gas Plant and a modern local processing facility.
History of the Canadian Rocky Mountains Field Trip Individuals, groups, corporations, organizations with an interest in the geological and cultural history of the Canadian Rocky Mountains including some historical insight into Global Warming. A single day trip from Calgary, Banff or Lake Louise including a tour of the Athabasca Glacier, Columbia Icefield.
Burgess Shale Walcott Quarry Field Experience Individuals, groups, corporations, organizations with an interest in the natural and cultural history of Western Canada and the Mountain Parks. A multiday Burgess Shale Course highlighted by an exclusive hike to the famous Walcott Quarry. This 3 day, 2 night field course starts and ends at the beautiful Emerald Lake Lodge on the shores of stunning Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park.
